about

The 2016 album in which () was wearing a detective hat and walking around town with an auto-chord organ in a rolly-bin with wheels to gigs in lieu of a car. Performances ranging from Burt Bacharach impressions with soaring counter-melodies ("split both ways"), playful mid-life writing about young people dying their hair to look older and old people dying their hair to look younger to the tune of "I'm a little teapot" ("now that I'm 14") to droning and reconciliatory numbers such as "I been livin", "Cloudpleasers" is an album that will provide comfort to the sensibilities of many music and bookish listeners. In performance, the songs have elicited tears and laughter in addition to aghast self-reflection in the approach of audience members who then apparently proceeded to let () know that they too, had

a tiny keyboard at their house. And that mattered to them for some reason.

Featuring guest vocalizations from Noor (Platonic Boyfriends) and Evan Haywood, and a slew of sweet and communally minded Michigan musicians, this album will surely add waves of constructive laughter and tears to your previously scheduled programming.

Enjoy
